We do NOT allow EATING our cherries in the orchard.  We are a family owned, working orchard. We spend the entire year working the orchard and paying bills for one short month of cherry sales.  We incur huge water bills; we purchase fertilizers and nutrients for the trees; we prune, weed and maintain the orchard all so that we will have a great crop of delicious cherries for our customers.

We are happy to have you taste a couple cherries to see which ones you want to purchase.  Villa del Sol does not have an entrance fee.  We love our customers and friends to come enjoy our orchard but we also expect a minimum purchase of $5.00 per person.

Thank you.

May 3, 2012

It’s almost cherry picking time again!  We are getting excited.  Although we did lose some of the early cherries, mostly Brooks in the late freeze, the later blooming trees are now loaded.

Some are the size of small grapes already. It's gotten warm in the last week so the cherries are growing quickly.  We are pampering the trees with lots of water and nutrients so that the cherries will be sweet and large when we open.  It is still too early to decide when we will be able to open.  We expect cherries to be ripe around the first part of June but we won’t know exact dates for a couple more weeks.

2012 Season is Upon Us!
Lots of blooms
mean lots of cherries!
